Next stop on the field trip was an Agri Shop or Agri Mall, where agricultural products are sold to the local farmers. Living in a regional town I had an impression of what an AgriShop might be like. I was rather surprised to find how small and specialized these shops were. They really only stocked pesticides and fertilizers. It was an eye opener for me.
Apparently there is a large AgriShop in Jamnagar that's part of a national chain of stores. It'll be interesting to see how much stock they hold and how much they charge.
Next stop is a village to meet some farmers. But not before we had more Chai.
